An 18th Century Palladian mansion with a world-famous landscape garden, its no surprise that Stourhead is one of our busiest and ‘best loved’ properties. It’s a centrepiece of the community and the high level of repeat regular visitors make it a hugely rewarding place to work. With a huge catering operation and sizable retail outlet, the 50 strong team work closely with local partners and businesses. Whether you want to work indoors, outdoors, in the ice cream parlour or restaurant, there are opportunities for everyone at Stourhead.

You'll work with the Visitor Operations and Experience Manager to help our visitors to connect with Stourhead's beauty, nature, and history. You will lead your team of staff and volunteers, and collaborate with wider property colleagues to ensure our visitors' experience is seamless and of the highest standards of presentation, providing an exceptional experience to everyone, every time.
With our impressive collections, inspiring landscapes, and centuries of history, there’s everything here to fire your imagination, to create events and deliver outstanding interpretation. You’ll bring to life our spirit of place, ensuring high standards of presentation and service as part of the visitor experience team.
