The Walt Disney Company's Media & Entertainment Distribution (DMED) is a global business segment for The Walt Disney Company with the mission of providing consumers around the world access to the content they want most, on the latest platforms, at a time of rapidly evolving consumer habits. Reporting into the EVP, Client Solutions & Addressable Enablement, the SVP, Addressable Sales role will be responsible for Disney’s Addressable sales & strategy. This role is responsible for delivering significant financial value as the addressable business has an accelerated pace of growth over the next 5 years.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall addressable sales strategy for the organization
- Work with agency & client sales leadership to partner & create focused strategies around driving addressable revenue inclusive of digital scatter & upfront budgets with a focus on across streaming, data & social.
- Direct oversight over programmatic, performance marketing and Hulu Ad Manager sales leaders, sales teams and revenue goals. Ideally draw from past experience in platform selling (data, audiences, products) to accelerate revenue growth and additional business strategies for Disney.
- Continue to strengthen a recognized presence in the market around our full addressable portfolio with a focus on data, measurement and attribution.
- Respond proactively to all requests; guide all Addressable RFPs to key DAS stakeholders so that critical deadlines are achieved
- Monitor DAS addressable sales revenue by category and lead a regular process for reporting progress to the leadership team
- Partner with DAS’s internal teams including Addressable Enablement, Ad Operations, Revenue Management, Transactional Sales, Business Operations, PR and Client & Brand Solutions and our segment partners, including ESPN, WDT, DMED Technology, Finance and others to devise digital ad packages and drive creativity throughout the entire sales process
- Establish strong relationships throughout the organization to deliver a coordinated and cohesive strategy that is presented in the market

Basic Qualifications:
- 15+ years’ of direct selling experience in advertising sales with relevant sales experience in a media organization
- Significant experience in premium TV and addressable advertising sales, understanding and delivering direct and programmatic sales
- Deep experience in data, platform & audience selling.
- Strong understanding of new media technologies
- A change leader with experience guiding new teams to deliver revenue
- Experience interfacing with high level executives, clients and agencies
- Experienced leader of data driven sales managing the sales cycle with advanced campaign measurement and attribution
- Experience of leading and driving high performance and engagement from large, complex teams
- True Sales Leader with an established history of prospecting new clients, generating leads and closing sales
- Able to simply and compellingly present complex marketing programs to clients. Able to lead brainstorming sessions as the need and situations demand
- Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and operate efficiently within a relatively flat organization; communicate effectively with a range of executives, department teams and clients
- Ability to perform a high level even when faced with unexpected change; creative problem solver in dealing with difficult or unexpected challenges
- Be willing to take risks to ensure creative thinking and the best outcomes possible
- Able to work with limited data, create solutions and deal with ambiguity
- Demonstrated ability to lead a dynamic and diverse team, manage multiple projects and bring projects to successful execution on time and on budget
- Ability to travel based on business needs
