Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced UX Manager to join Marketing and Engagement Team based in London.

You’ll be split your time between working in a product team responsible for the development of a key new internal product as well as leading UX digital designers working in other brand engagement-focused areas.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead your team of UX designers with clarity of vision, purpose and impact in their product teams that delivers on a consistent and premium consumer experience across all touchpoints

• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and key partners, communicating your vision and analysis of areas to focus as part of our OKRs.

• Build a deeper understanding of our users’ needs and behaviours by identifying user difficulties and improvement areas through analytic data and metrics, user research, competitor analysis and user testing

• Design and explore hypothesis, ideas and features through prototypes to help validate ideas

• Work directly with the product manager and engineering team to produce the best possible solutions that balances technical feasibility and experience improvements to ensure the best possible outcome for the end users and the business.

• Actively looks for opportunities to collaborate with designers across the organisation through inspiration sharing, workshops and developing the UX network within LEGO

The Marketing and Engagement Team are focused on delivering premium experiences that allow our customers to be either self-served or engaging directly with our service team via intuitive and modern touchpoints.

Do you have what it takes?

• Experience leading and mentoring a team of designers.

• Commercial experience of designing and implementing large scale digital products

• Excellent skills in creative design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects etc.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to present work intelligently and concisely for the team and other key partners.

• Hands on experience with UX research techniques, ability to design and run user testing and facilitate creative workshops

• A great teammate with strong collaboration skills and the ability to create strong relations across teams

• In depth understanding of best practices for UX and UI design patterns on mobile and web

• A teammate who cares about collaborative culture and ongoing process improvements
