Location- Home-Based Remote with travel required to other Capita sites and Client sites travel required.

What you’ll be doing:

• To install and upgrade MSSQL Server and Integra finance system on a selection of operating systems and infrastructure.
• The technical implementation / Configuration of new Integra Centros builds as required The additions (and removals) of Integra Modules.
• This role will install (or remove) technical components or specific modules, understand the pre-requisites for new modules or components and upgrade / install as required.
• To ensure the professional delivery of new implementations of Integra, built to meet the customer need and in line with Capita’s project plan and contracted obligations
• To install additional modules and/or provide additional functionality to meet the customer need and in line with Capita’s contracted obligations
• To work with the Integra Project manager, Service Delivery Managers, Support teams or Business consultants to deliver the technical build / configure functions as required and ensure these are completed in line with the agreed project plan
• Ensure that any technical upgrades / installations / configurations are onto the correct version, any pre-requisites are identified, and upgrades planed and coordinated correctly
• The provision of technical support and consultancy for both Capita staff and clients in addition to the provision of training to Capita staff and clients.
• To ensure the clients technical infrastructure and associated environments are optimised and operating effectively.
• To update and maintain training material as required
• To support the pre-sales and sales teams as required
• To learn and maintain skills relevant to the Integra technical infrastructure  
• To complete all documentation in a professional and timely manor
• To support the Head of Integra Consulting United Kingdom and Ireland and provide input regarding Technical consulting implications
• Complete time sheets and Site Visit Reports accurately in in a timely manner
• Perform other technical support functions such as (but not limited to) incident, problem and change, upgrades, live to test copies, Oracle to MSSSQL conversions, patch application, production of scripts, testing etc .

What we’re looking for:

• MSSQL Server Qualifications
• Working DBA knowledge of MSSQL server databases
• basic knowledge of a financial/procurement system
• Scripting
• Windows and/or UNIX skills
• Microsoft Toolsets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Full UK Driving License
• Acceptance of travel and nights away.
