Our Novus team are looking for a new Talent Resource.

Capita’s Novus Programme’s bridges the gap between academia and employment, equipping graduate consultants with the right combination of skills and commercial experience. Once trained in-house these trainees progress to become consultants who are placed on one or more client assignments.

The role of a Talent Resourcer, is to identify, attract and shortlist candidates for the recruitment process to fulfil the requirements of the training plan. You will identify new attraction opportunities and build a pipeline of future candidates through events and networking with candidates and careers advisors. You’ll also provide support to resourcers in their day-to-day activities, distribute work fairly against the training plan and monitor and report any projected shortfalls to the recruitment talent manager.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identify, attract and shortlist candidates for the recruitment process to fulfil the requirements of the training plan
  • Research, identify and attract candidates using all appropriate methods to satisfy training requirements
  • Build relationships with University careers advisors in your catchment area
  • Understand and follow at all times the recruitment administration process
  • Comply with company management systems, audit procedures and GDPR
  • Accurate recording of candidate information on the recruitment database

What we’re looking for:

  • A background in recruitment or candidate resourcing ideally in the graduate market
  • A positive and proactive approach, results driven with the ability to inject energy and enthusiasm into every task
  • Ability to multi-task, to perform effectively and efficiently under pressure and to adapt to change
  • Ability to take ownership, to work autonomously and willingness to be accountable
  • Able to build and maintain relationships
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication
  • Highly organised
  • Confident presenter
  • Numerate and IT literate
  • Knowledge of the graduate recruitment market is highly desirable
  • Basic understanding of IT roles such as software testing, software development etc would be beneficial but not essential
