Fidelity Personal Investing – Client Solutions Technology Chapter Area is looking for a dynamic individual to serve in a systems analyst and engineer dual-role supporting our One Stop Life Shop in the Technology Team. Candidates must be passionate about helping our customers define, implement, and monitor strategies for their financial goals, and comfortable working in an innovative, upbeat agile environment.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years of System Analysis Experience or Dual Hat role with Development

  • Experience in API virtualization techniques like Docker, YAML etc

  • Experience in using API testing tools such as Postman, Apigee etc.

  • Experience with SQL and ability to write complex queries

  • Experience in DATA virtualization working with tools like Parasoft Virtualize

  • Ability to understand and make recommendations regarding the technology and software architecture and design of an application

  • Strong understanding of the CI/CD (DevOps) pipelines

  • Proven knowledge and experience taking ambiguous, complex features and breaking them into stories with well-defined business value, technical decomposition and acceptance criteria

  • Knowledge of software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, build processes, testing, and operations

  • Practical experience with Test Driven Development or Behavior Driven Development

  • AWS Cloud experience/certification is a plus

  • You’re a technical analyst with skills including but not limited to those identified in the Qualifications section

  • You are strong in system analysis, but can provide technical hand to aid production support where needed

  • Passionate about Technology

  • Data driven approach, driving quick A/B test iterations and corresponding metrics approaches

  • Obsessed with creating the best end-to-end experience

  • Owns the outcome by taking personal accountability for delivering strong results

  • Self-directed, willing to take initiative, pragmatic and results-oriented

  • Motivated to guide the onshore and offshore teams

The Team

The squad will partner with the Fidelity enterprise team members and several Personal Investing (PI) and Workplace Investing (WI) teams in creating scalable end to end customer experiences delivered consistently across Fidelity. We want candidates who are “automation-infected” and driven to reduce manual practices that lead to inefficiency. Our teams are multi-functional and you would perform a mix of analysis, development support and testing activities, while guiding the rest of your team in how to assure standard methodologies. You will be involved in all aspects of the engineering process to build and deliver great customer experiences. You are expected to quickly gain an understanding of all the components of our web applications to be able to contribute to strategic roadmaps and initiatives related to the enhancement, maintenance, and support of the platform.
