In this rapidly growing fast paced environment, we are looking for a motivated, organized self-starter with an entrepreneur spirit, to join our team as our Sr Supply Chain Manager for Europe.


This role can be based in either London or Munich.


This is a unique opportunity to play a key role within the Merch by Amazon supply chain looking after the EU region. We are looking for a passionate leader with proven experience in network modeling, distribution, 3P management, and collaborating with global stakeholders. In this role, you will scale our distribution model to optimize for ship cost, ship speed and customer experience. The right candidate is detail-oriented, builds strong relationships, and enjoys solving complex, ambiguous problems.

Responsibilities:
· Owns ship cost, delivery speed and final mile analytics for Europe
· Builds the EU topology and capacity plan
· Creates the network distribution and transportation strategy
· Drives cross-functional strategic initiatives to continuously improve cost structure and customer experience of the supply chain
· Performs complex analysis to identify business opportunities to improve revenue and profitability
· Drives global standardization of network configuration, businesses processes, and reporting with product, finance, operations, and supply chain stakeholders
· Drives cross-functional projects to support new strategic initiatives and business opportunities for the organization.
· Establishes strong relationships with internal and external strategic providers

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics, or related field
· 5+ years’ experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, or transportation Experience leading and owning cross-functional programs
· Experience owning the design, implementation, and optimization of initiatives
· 5+ years data mining and data analysis
· Experience using Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links
· Experience with analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Microsoft Access

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Knowledge of global supply chain (international and domestic logistics, 1P and 3P distribution, transportation systems)
· Experience creating, iterating, and improving end-to-end global supply chain strategies
· MBA or advanced degree in supply chain, business or engineering
· Experience with supply chain modeling and other statistical analysis tools
