We are now looking for a Senior SQL Server Developer/DBA to join our expanding Technology Team. You’ll be responsible for leading in the design, development, testing and maintenance of SQL aspects of applications and providing end-user support

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • SQL development and maintenance for applications and interfaces
  • DBA support to the development team
  • Transition to cloud environment of complex linked databases
  • Undertake other reasonable duties/ projects as identified through business needs.
  • Predominantly project /transformation responsibilities, but some limited support to the production environment will be required

What we’re looking for:

Mandatory Skills:

  • Ability to hold/gain SC Clearance
  • Strong technical knowledge of SQL Server as a developer and development support DBA
  • Ability to design, implement and maintain tables, complex stored procedures, functions and views
  • Experienced in database and query optimization, analysis of query plans and indexing
  • Experienced with managing XML with SQL
  • Experienced in building and maintaining SSIS packages
  • Technical knowledge of current Windows operating systems
  • Experience in virtualization

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with SQL Server in Azure
  • Experience configuring and writing SSRS reports
  • Clustering and AlwaysOn
  • Technical knowledge of IIS web server 
  • Experience in Active Directory and DNS
  • New Relic
