Long Description

To support Vodafone globally in executing strategic transactions and projects, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships and debt financing. This role has a broad range of responsibilities and is expected to provide collaborative support and legal leadership on projects with, principally, Vodafone’s Group M&A team and Group Treasury team. 

With us you will:
-Provide expert legal advice and support on international M&A transactions and Group Treasury projects, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of documents.
-Provide pragmatic and creative legal leadership on strategic portfolio management activities, ensuring the protection of Vodafone’s interests.
-Build a strong relationship with key senior internal stakeholders, to educate and advise on technical corporate legal matters.
-Instruct and manage external legal advisers to ensure cost effective, focused and reliable service delivery.
-Manage or coordinate input from a range of internal legal stakeholders on strategic projects, including other group legal teams and local market legal teams.
 

Long Description

It would be nice if you have:
-Qualification as a solicitor in England and Wales, (equivalent international qualifications considered), with a minimum 2 years relevant PQE
-Proven legal advisory experience on global transactions and strategic projects.
-Good understanding of key corporate legal issues for a large global group of companies.
-Excellent communication skills – effective and adaptable  communication  style to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders. Digital competence.
-Excellent project management skills, and proven ability to manage others and work collaboratively and inclusively within and across teams.
-Excellent drafting and contractual analysis skills, with a strong ability to identify and explain commercial issues arising out of complex drafting.
