We are Azure Confidential Computing (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/confidential-computing/overview)  team. Our team plays a key leadership role in Azure by driving confidential computing technologies, solutions, and strategy.

We are looking for a senior engineer, who is passionate about delivering solutions to meet customer needs. You will have an opportunity to contribute across the stack including developing security infrastructure, defining developer experiences, and building security services to provide provable confidentiality and privacy guarantees to customers. This position requires software development skills and a passion for learning new technologies. You will be exposed to attestation technology and Azure infrastructure (from a physical machine to how an Azure VM is provisioned)

Responsibilities

As a senior member of the team, you will build solutions to guarantee confidentiality and privacy for customers of Azure. You will design frameworks for containers that leverage TEEs and work with different product teams, hardware vendors, customers and open-source communities to architect, design and implement end to end solutions. As a senior engineer, you will have a chance to grow into a technical lead and own project management responsibility, and hiring, training, mentoring of team members.

Design and develop security infrastructure, APIs, Protocols, and services for the cloud.

Prepare and present detailed, written technical information for internal and external audiences.

Collaborate effectively across groups and teams worldwide.

Qualifications

Required:

• BS in computer science or engineering or equivalent years of work experience
• 3+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years of C/C++ development experience

Preferred:

• Demonstrated problem solving and debugging skills.
• Strong aptitude in architecting, designing, developing, debugging, and delivering excellent products.
• Demonstrated grasp of crypto basics.
• Knowledge/experience with the virtualization technology is a plus.
• Experience with Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) e.g. AMD SEV-SNP, Intel SGX, ARM TrustZone.
