Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the technical feasibility of Ul/UX designs
• Develop functional and appealing web-based and mobile-optimized applications while maintaining acceptable quality, maximum speed and scalability by using and adapting coding standards and industry best practices
• Research and design various environments to translate business challenges into innovative outcomes for internal and external clients
• Create cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platforms
• Attend project discussions, meetings and clearly identify the scope and tasks getting allocated and deal with Project Managers
• Leading small teams of consultants to deliver small and medium-sized projects with minimal oversight from managers, or working as part of a team on bigger projects
• Ability to work within deadlines individually and as a team
• Assist back-end developers in troubleshooting, debugging, and fixing bugs
• Conduct peer code reviews and ensure the quality of coding standards is maintained user experience direction, user testing, research and requirements gathering
• Originate new user interface concepts and models, solution design, ideation, brainstorming, coming up with interesting and innovative ideas by giving clear, coherent and inspiring presentations of work/ideas
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

 
What are we looking for?

• BSc. in IT or any other equivalent/ related Professional Qualification from a recognized institute
• Minimum of 4+ years of relevant industry experience
• Excellent knowledge & experience in HTML5, CSS3, jQuery.
• Excellent knowledge & experience in CSS preprocessors like SASS, LESS
• Experience in Front-end frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation with Mobile First Approach (Responsive)
• Experience in Web APls like Google, Facebook, Salesforce, Marketo etc
• Knowledge to work with 3rd party chart libraries like D3.js, echarts, chart.js, Google Charts etc
• Familiar with build and automation tools like Grunt. Gulp, Webpack and Git
• Solid understanding of web standards and architecture
• Understanding of WCAG 2.0 and Document Outline Algorithm
• Good understanding of software design patterns and when to use them
• Solid understanding of naming methodologies such as BEM. OOCSS, SMACSS would be an advantage
• Experience in Modern JavaScript frameworks such as Node, Angular, React, Typescript, ES6 would be an advantage
• Experience in theming for PHP CMSs like WordPress, Drupal would be an advantage
• Have an agile mindset and ability to take a proactive role in SDLC
• Familiar with agile practices such as code reviewing, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery
• Ability to set realistic timeframes and deliver on time with a can-do attitude
• Able to respond positively and calmly to shifting priorities. demands and timelines
• Familiarity with Agile software development departments and methodologies
