Job Description:

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Fidelity Institutional Business Enablement Technology (FIBET) Productivity Solutions team you will be responsible for delivery of solutions and best in class support of various tools and processes enabling the Fidelity Institutional Business Enablement Technology organization to produce superior products for our business. This position requires a hardworking collaborator who has a passion for problem solving and champions continuous improvement and standard methodologies across the organization.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• 5+ years of software development experience involving J2EE technologies, implementing enterprise solutions released into a production environment.
• Proven expertise with ALM Tools (GIT/BitBucket, Jenkins, Artifactory) and DevOps Strategies including CI/CD automation including standard methodologies, configuration and knowledge sharing
• Experience with the following technologies and tools: Spring (MVC, Boot & Batch), Web (HTML5 / AngularJS / CSS3 / jQuery ), Docker, RESTful Web Services, tomcat & Maven would be a plus
• Understanding of Cloud practices & technologies
• Innovation Approach and Creativity Skills: Encourages others to look at problems and processes in new ways and champions continuous improvement.

The Team

As part of the Fidelity Institutional Business Enablement Technology (FIBET), The Productivity Solutions team provides solutions and expertise supporting FIBET’s Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Continuous Integration /Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and DevOps strategies. These solutions, processes, tools and support enable FIBET to deliver technology solutions to our business. You will become a subject matter expert in our ALM & web-based tools. You will participate in the full lifecycle of our IT delivery while providing technical leadership in the Senior Software Engineer role and production support
