The Role

Are you interested in working to build applications which supports Prime Brokerage business ? Our chapter comprises teams that work on a range of applications which supports prime brokerage business activities. We're looking for database developers who are passionate, inquisitive, and responsible individuals to help us in our mission to deliver the best experience to our customers, comprising of Hedge Fund clients and Fidelity prime business. As a database developer and data analyst,

You’ll work on analyzing and designing data structures to support various applications, new features, taking these from concept to deployment, as part of our cross functional teams.

You'll have the opportunity to share ideas to improve our products as well as develop your skills, learn new technologies, and continue to learn.

We're looking for highly motivated individuals who work well in a collaborative, iterative, and fast-paced environment.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

8+ years of hands on experience as a developer in MS SQL Server and/or Oracle

Strong data analysis skills, design, and coding experience in financial industry preferably in capital markets/prime brokerage.

Strong RDBMS skills – SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, user privileges, object privileges, etc

Has done performance tuning of stored procedures and queries.

Has worked on SSIS ETL packages.

Knowledge of SSRS Reporting services is a plus.

Comfortable working on windows server and windows batch programs.

Knows some Unix, has a little experience in Linux environment including basic unix commands.

Experience working with team in Agile methodology

Knowledge of C# and .NET middle tier is a plus

AWS Cloud experience is a plus

Knowledge of Python is nice to have

3+ years working in financial industry is a plus.

Understand glossaries and terminologies in financial industry

Knowledge of accounting concepts is nice to have.

Prime Brokerage application development experience is a plus.

Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams.

Good communication skill to both technology folks and business partners.

Quick learner, adaptable, has the right attitude to work across teams to find and deploy solutions.

Committed to timely and quality deliverables.
