The Role

Developing an international trading system for Stock Plan Services. We have several Agile Scrum teams working together to build a global equity compensation and trading system using Java, Azure Service Bus , Continuous Deployment / Integration, including automated testing, and Azure Kubernetes. This position provides the opportunity to work on the premiere equity compensation system in the industry, processing grants of stock, stock options, and other stock derivatives trading through domestic and international brokers. We currently have a customer base of over 500 of the Fortune 1000 companies. Help us to design and deliver a system for them that is best in class!

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • 4-7+ years of Java EE development on high volume enterprise systems
  • Proven experience developing java middle tier restful services
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a geographically disbursed scrum team
  • Good written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership of development tasks and work independently

The Team

The team is one of several teams working in parallel on delivering an end-to-end experience for clients and their participants. This position is for one of the six developers who work with a product owner, a technical leader, a quality engineer, and a scrum master. We will coordinate the delivery of multiple products across development teams. We are executing on the key objectives of Stock Plan Services,

following domain-driven design processes, building microservices and event-driven architecture with CI/CD in an AKS Azure Environment. Our goal is to provide a full-service global equity compensation for our clients, delivering stock, stock options, and cash to their participants. We are supporting global currency and trading through the London desk and in the United States.
