Datacenter Cyber Security team is the key team focused on building tools and applications that ensure that the foundation of Microsoft cloud business has rock-solid security, meeting highest industry bar, and is evolving as threats landscape evolves.

We are looking for passionate Front-End Developers who can build engaging User experiences from the ground up. Successful candidates will have passion for building User experiences with high quality and build customer centric views using agile development practices. You would be working in an exciting and fast-paced environment, collaborating with multiple teams across organizations, building sophisticated cloud services and security systems that protect our datacenter footprint across the world. You would collaborate across multiple organizations at Microsoft to build next generation systems for stronger security posture of Microsoft’s datacenter systems.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

• Designing, building, and maintaining complex web applications with a particular emphasis on UI
• Review and contribute to the specifications and implementations written by other team members.
• Provide technical leadership across features, projects, service fundamentals and tools.
• Mentor new and junior engineers to bring them up to speed in software development environment.
• Working with single-page architecture, front-end application frameworks
• Optimizing client performance through efficient dependency management and data access patterns

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

• Having an overall 12+ years experience with min. 5+ years of frontend development experience for web
• 3+ years of software development experience working on large scale production systems
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong Object-Oriented Programming skills
• Experienced agile methodology practitioner with background in building scalable, full stack systems
• Experience in building systems for cloud infrastructure
• Passion for working with customers and advocating for their requirements to be met by features
• Full stack developers with extra emphasis on Front end development is a plus.
