Datacenter Cyber Security team is the key team focused on building tools and applications that ensure that the foundation of Microsoft cloud business has rock-solid security, meeting highest industry bar, and is evolving as threats landscape evolves.

 We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer who can help build state-of-the-art full stack systems, including backend services & data processing systems for a new security product. Successful candidates will have passion for building high-scale, high-performance and high-reliability full stack systems that support engaging User experiences. You would be working in an exciting and fast-paced environment, collaborating with multiple teams across organizations, building sophisticated data processing, cloud services, IoT platform and security systems that protect industrial facilities across the world. You would collaborate across multiple organizations at Microsoft to build next generation systems to increase security posture of Industrial Control systems.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

• Lead architecture, design, and develop features and solutions with high quality.
• Provide technical leadership for the team across features, projects, service fundamentals and tools.
• Mentor new and junior engineers to bring them up to speed in software development environment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:  

• Do you have an overall 13-15 years experience with 5+ years of software development experience using C++, C# and/or Java
• 3+ years of software development experience working on customer facing and service based software products

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong Object-Oriented Programming skills
• Experienced agile methodology practitioner with background in building scalable, full stack systems
• Experience in building systems for cloud infrastructure
• Passion for working with customers and advocating for their requirements to be met by features
