 The Opportunity  

For our innovative Adobe Experience Manager enterprise solution driving a billion-dollar revenue, Adobe is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Bay Area team. You will be building services with both dynamic and native programming languages and work on consumer scale cloud platform supporting Adobe products and integration within Adobe’s own Experience Cloud solutions or 3rd party integrations.  

What you'll Do  

• Develop highly available, scalable customer facing applications.  
• Develop, test and deploy using CI-CD.  
• Evolve system design and architecture to keep up with product's growth and adoption  
• Optimize for performance and cost within a containerized microservice cloud architecture
• Drive adoption of new technologies and contribute to the continuous increase of technical knowledge across engineering teams 
• Identify and drive opportunities to improve automation for the team (deployment, management and visibility of our services) and ensure a high level of value, productivity, quality and reliability.  

What you need to succeed  

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent  

• 5+ years of software development experience 

• Experience with at least one of these programming languages - Java, Go, Python 

• Experience with application frameworks like Spring boot and Hibernate 

• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases 

• Experience working with cloud technologies like Azure or AWS and container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes or Helm

• Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) and with one or more current JavaScript UI frameworks (React, Angular, vue.js) is a plus  
• Expertise in web/cloud application design and architectural principles
• Advanced object-oriented design and development skills 
• Practice with agile development and excited to work in an agile environment 
• Passionate about building excellent software with customer focus and compassion.
