The Challenge:

Adobe is seeking an accomplished, innovative Software Engineer who is up for a challenge to join our fast-moving agile team in Lehi, Utah. The qualified candidate will help build cutting-edge tools and services that power the build and delivery pipeline for an industry leading analytics solution. The Adobe Analytics platform processes 20+ billion transactions daily, and delivers reporting data to customers via a sophisticated data visualization interface. This Software Engineer will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including the architecture, design, development, and maintenance of a high throughput continuous integration and delivery pipeline.

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain continuous delivery tools and services capable of supporting software releases for a massive data platform. This will include implementing tools and services to further automate this process.
• Proactively address complex problems involving many disparate systems and tens of thousands of servers.
• Coordinate with feature development teams and quality engineering teams to ensure smooth delivery of new features.
• Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to continually increase the team’s productivity and efficiency.
• Investigate new and exciting concepts, and explore the creation of new technology that can strengthen Adobe’s patent portfolio of technology.
• Maintain Adobe’s culture of innovation and ensure that the work completed is true to Adobe’s brand of technology and customer excellence.

What you need to succeed:

• M.S. or B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent field, and 5+ experience developing software.
• Solid object-oriented programming background in Java or Python.
• Database programming knowledge with SQL.
• Experience with building and deploying back-end service platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to projects of varying complexity, including integration with other products and systems to identify areas of new feature development
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Bonus Skills:

• Linux Sys Admin (scripting, system management and setup, etc…)
• Hands on experience with configuration/deployment tools, particularly SaltStack.
• Direct experience building configuration and deployment tools.
• Hands on experience with Azure and/or Amazon AWS.
• Hands on experience with NoSQL databases.
