Senior Software Engineer (f/m)

Job Description

• Development of user and software interfaces for the vehicle dynamics simulation AVL VSM• Further development the existing user interface framework (C#/WPF/XAML)• Translating end-user requirements and workflows into software with great useability• Implementation of distributed applications in the cloud• Conversion of end-user requirements and workflows into software with high user-friendliness• Writing modular, extensible, maintainable software• Specification of automated tests• Mentoring other software developers

Seeked Profile

• University degree or equivalent in software development, computer science or similar• At least 5 years of practical experience in software development (C#/WPF/XAML)• Very good English skills both written and spoken• Pro-active mindset• Willingness to travel (approx. 2 weeks per year)Optional Skills• Experience in developing applications with C++ and/or Python• Experience with real-time simulation software• Interest in vehicle dynamics and/or mechanical engineering
