The mission of Microsoft Digital Security & Resilience (DSR) is to enable Microsoft to build the most trusted devices and services, while keeping our company safe and our data protected. ​As part of Microsoft’s Security, Compliance, Identity, and Management (SCIM) organization, and a steward of Microsoft and our customer’s data, a core function of Microsoft DSR is ensuring the security of every aspect of the business. Microsoft DSR is responsible for company-wide information security and compliance, with a strategic focus on information protection, assessment, awareness, governance, and enterprise business continuity. As customer zero, we deploy and secure these services inside Microsoft, influece security designs of Microsoft's products and share best practices with enterprise customers at scale across the globe.
We are looking for a passionate engineer to architect, design and build security solutions for protecting Microsoft assets. To succeed in this role you should have proven software development experience, ability to translate business problems into technical designs and solutions while maintaining obsession and passion for security, automation, reliability, and customer experience. You will work in a team that develops tools, features and capabilities to accelerate our enterprise risk management and resilience initiatives based upon a solid foundation of secure software engineering. Software you develop will form the backbone of security initiatives across various segments of enterprise security such as risk management, privacy, compliance, business continuity, crisis management, penetration testing/red teaming, cloud security, engineering environment/infrastructure security, etc. The role will also expose you to exciting security engineering challenges of building software that uses various emerging technologies.
