Senior Software Engineer - Sizing & Pricing

The Sizing & Pricing team is a tight, supportive, high-performing team within digital commerce. We have built a brand new size management and delivery capability, with high-availability/resilience, high-performance solution (6,000rps at 4ms at the 95th percentile, 99.95% SLO), with an internally facing UI. Technologies used: .NET Core 2.2; CosmosDB; Redis; Service Bus; React; Service Fabric. We have also dabbled in DevOps; Terraform; AKS.   

The team employs ATDD; quality and security are baked-in (SecDev golden padlock winners for security); software craftsmanship is a key tenant of everything we do. We rely heavily on engineer empowerment, using engineer feature ownership for all features delivered. We have a strong emphasis on personal development and knowledge sharing, through microlearning's, team katas, peer reviews etc. We are Kanban, fully agile and we continually improve. We have a fully automated pipeline, throughout our pat to live, including performance tests - we are the only ASOS team to be full CDEP!  

The team have also taken on ASOS's pricing capability - and are in the process of applying all the high-standard technology processes and practices to an existing live service and enhancing it to meet ASOS's goals.
