The Role

Fidelity Investments is looking for a JavaScript developer who is passionate about building and maintaining an enterprise platform of outstanding digital marketing capabilities. You will participate in the definition, delivery, review and acceptance of technology-based marketing solutions within our owned channel experiences. Maintaining relationships and listening to constructive feedback is a critical skill for the success of this role.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

TECHNOLOGY

• Hands on usage, configuration, and/or administration of Marketing Technology related tools, specifically Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics and Ensighten Tag Manager.
• Proven ability in JavaScript/NodeJS
• Deep understanding of web page execution and lifecycle
• Detailed experience with client-side JavaScript including DOM, Events and client interaction; development experience with server-side JavaScript via NodeJS.
• Understanding and/or experience with DevOps/Pipelines (Jenkins, uDeploy, etc) and enterprise grade Content Management Systems (Tridion) are a plus.

Business

• Experience with an Agile-based delivery model
• Capturing requirements from Business Stakeholders, negotiating MVPs, delivery roadmaps, etc. Taking feedback from product demos to incorporate into product deliverables.

Other

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS/CIS, Marketing (or related) is required
• Creative, Innovative and Problem-Solving skills are required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are needed for this Agile team

The Team

The Marketing Channel Execution (MCE) product area within the Personal Investing business unit of Fidelity is looking to add to our core team of engineers. In MCE, we focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences through the use of omni-channel communications such as email, text, physical mail or push notifications to name a few. We support multiple business units within Fidelity and send out millions of communications per month to our customers.
