Conducts tactical data extracts and builds large data pipelines for B2C Artificial Intelligence (AI) and personalization delivery in the Financial Services industry. Develops ETL workflows in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Snowflake within Agile AI/Machine Learning (AI/ML) environment. Delivers high quality data solutions in a multi-engineering and data science Agile environment according to coding standard methodologies and modern Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications. Develops, tests, and deploys real-time AI recommendation APIs for a continuous delivery AI/ML team.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.
• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.
• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
• Supports and performs all phases of application and security testing leading to implementation.
• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing for use cases.
• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
• Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.
• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several financial services initiatives.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience developing full stack personalization and Artificial Intelligence (AI) data solutions supporting diverse business units, using data movement and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines within a fiduciary regulated financial services environment.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience developing full stack personalization and Artificial Intelligence (AI) data solutions supporting diverse business units, using data movement and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines within a fiduciary regulated financial services environment.
Skills and Knowledge:
Candidate must also possess:
Demonstrated Expertise (“DEâ€) deploying Java on-premise AI/Machine Learning (ML) applications using uDeploy; implementing highly available and high-security Cloud and on-premise big data solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS); implementing AWS services including — Lambda, S3, EC2, and CLI — to build data pipelines and develop daily file processing jobs; deploying AWS infrastructure, using Docker and Cloud formation templates; and monitoring application performance using Data Dog.
DE developing Web-based applications, using Java and J2EE technologies — JDBC, Spring Core, and Spring MVC; writing and consuming REST Web services for AI/ML models in a microservices application architecture; and developing and testing Java applications, using Spring Boot, Eclipse, STS, and Postman.
DE developing scalable and low latency (<100 millisecond) full stack applications and data solutions using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), within a B2C AI solutions global continuous delivery team; resolving production issues of the AI/ML project lifecycle — end-to-end delivery including, idea inception, cultivation, prototyping, model building, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
DE developing and automating customer facing Web applications (using CI/CD, Jenkins and UDeploy) in a DevOps environment; performing code version control and branching strategies (using GIT and Stash), issue tracking (using Jira and Service Now), and log tracking (using Splunk); and migrating containerized applications to Rancher Kubernetes Services (RKS).
