The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technology related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required.

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud services, preferably AWS

  • Extensive experience in Web UI Programming (Angular, Node.js), Python, Java Spring, RESTful APIs and in-memory technologies (caching,etc)

  • Proven understanding of developing highly scalable distributed systems using Open source technologies

  • Proven experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, Docker)

  • Understanding of container and serverless architecture (Docker, Kubernetes etc…)

  • Proven experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM)

The Team
 

The Customer Data Technology group within Fidelity’s Personal Investing (PI) organization is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and maintain large scale data processing systems with this role focusing on the frontend and middle tier components. In this role, you will apply a variety of technologies to develop innovative solutions, focused on the new experimentation platform for enterprise consumption. This position is a critical element to delivering Fidelity’s promise of creating the best customer experiences in financial services.
