A Senior Software Developer plays a key role in creating, maintaining, and improving the software we provide to our clients. They provide technical leadership to more junior members of the Development Team and have oversight and responsibility over whole areas of development.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Developer, working in tight collaboration with developers, testers and designers, building a cloud-based Resource Planning solution.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong C# netcore knowledge

  • Experienced with SQL Server or other relational databases

  • Knowledge of microservice architecture and infrastructures

  • Diagnose and resolve the root cause of bugs in the system and has the patience and capability to address technically challenging bugs when they arise

  • Actively contributes to technical discussions with the wider team

  • Passionate about code quality

  • Carries out thorough and thoughtful code reviews of other developer’s code, upholding best practices and industry standards

  • Quickly adapts to new areas of the system and new technologies

  • Provide third level support

  • Takes responsibility for deliverables for the features they develop

  • Communicates effectively with QA, explaining changes to the product clearly

  • Mentors junior developers

  • Can architect and analyse solutions from design specifications, taking into account functional and non-functional requirements, such as:

    • Maintainability

    • Extensibility

    • Ease of understanding

    • Reusability

    • Implementation cost

    • Performance

    • Scalability
