Job Description

As Senior Sales Analyst, you will maintain data and reporting to support our Convenience Store sales team. You will gather data through multiple sources to create reports to support sales reviews, customer business reviews, trends, pricing, and item distribution. You will report to a Sales Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analytical efforts for the Convenience Store sales team with primary focus on our Snacks portfolio
  • Work closely with distributor and redistributor partners
  • Help with investigations and documentation of post-audits
  • Use syndicated data (i.e. IRI) and appropriate tools to identify trends in market share and distribution to drive the business
  • Monitor Customer Service Center accuracy with trade events
  • Research deductions
  • Report on and analyze planned versus volume variances by using trade event analysis reporting; conduct post event analysis
  • Assist the team in developing incremental promotional programs to improve volume and profit
  • Lead the analytical efforts for the team, providing development for sales analysts to strengthen their skills
  • Assist corporate team with higher level data gathering
  • Coordinate meetings with Customer Business Managers on forecasting, systems training, and post promotion analysis reviews
  • Acquire ad circulars (AdView)
  • Help provide current sales trend information and insights to support development of the team's customer plan
  • Be the central point of contract for the Customer Supply Chain Center as it relates to both order/pricing and deductions

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years experience in a CPG broker or sales support role
  • Experience coordinating and manipulating data to support business analysis
  • Understanding of, or interest in learning, the Convenience channel with the ability to identify potential business risks and opportunities
  • Advanced technical abilities, including Excel for pivot tables and v lookups
