The Role

We believe your client service skills will help you forge relationships with management and investment professionals through your proactive support of their external research needs. We know you will improve our processes for handling external research vendors and continue to develop innovative ways for research spend governance! The value you deliver includes:

• Acting as liaison between Investment Professionals and external vendors, onboarding new vendors, managing approval on research costs and delivering ad hoc spend and/or eligibility data to analysts and management
• Coordinating administration of key categorizations and descriptions related to research vendors and responsible for compliance and legal sign-off of related service eligibility for global payment programs and external research vendor relationships
• Maintaining and governing the research and market data service taxonomies
• Running quarterly research vote cycle including quality checks on data and reporting vote results
• Collaborating with IIS Commission Uses and Vendor Administration teams on service eligibility changes and updates, and workflow integrations
• Participating in monthly Research Services Review Committee meetings and Annual Review of Research Services and collaborating with Compliance and Legal on research issues and tracking processes

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelors degree
• Customer service or client facing experience
• Financial services experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
• Your ability to analyze and synthesize a wide range of data into valuable insights
• You have experience using business intelligence tools such as OBIEE
• Masters of Library & Information Science, not required but useful

The Team

Research Services is a team within FFIO Consolidated Data Services group. We are responsible for managing all external research vendors, the research vote and soft dollar eligibility program on behalf of Asset Management.
