Amazon is seeking a senior leader with wide Engineering Program Management and Manufacturing experience both in plants/WHSEs and in headquarters. This senior leader will be directly responsible for delivering new Fulfillment capacity in Europe, both new FCs and upgrading existing FCs with a project portfolio in excess of 200-300 MM Euro in our fast growing EU Fulfillment network.
Successful candidates will have several years of experience in medium-large sized companies with direct responsibilities to deliver large scale and complex Engineering programs, to portfolio manage several projects, to lead CAPEX internal approvals, to lead Change Management and to influence or lead Engineering design management.
The senior leader is expected to operate with executive levels, to develop long term thinking, to develop 3 years plans and to be highly operational within own and several partnering teams.
The candidate will have a successful track record of leading large Engineering teams in complex, growing and fast moving business environments.
Safety, Sustainability, Impeccable Project Execution, CAPEX efficiency and Launch Readiness will be some of the key accountabilities of the role.
· University Degree in Engineering. Master or PdD preferred.
· Experience leading and interacting with large cross-functional teams.
· Experience to lead large scale Engineering programs or large scale projects, such as launching new manufacturing plants or modules.
· Program Management wide experience.
· Project Management direct experience on large CAPEX projects.
· Construction and Project Safety experience.
