What you’ll be doing:

• Producing cost plans at all stages of the Pre Contract construction process including the use of measurement software and use of benchmarking data
• Producing Employment Requirements / tender documentation and managing the tender process including tender queries and tender assessment
• Report writing including tender reports and due diligence reporting
• Post Contract Cost Management including monthly valuations and final accounting
• Experience of dispute resolution relating to financial and time related subjects
• Managing and developing the Apprentices and Assistant Quantity Surveyors within the team

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Quantity surveying or related subject
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience post degree graduation in a Consultancy environment (PQS)
• Proficient in the use of soft-ware including but not limited to Excel, Cost-X, MS Project, MS Teams, Outlook
• Experience of Cost Management within the high rise residential sector preferably Student Accommodation (PBSA) or Build to Rent
• Willingness to travel within the UK
