Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Specialist to join our QMS and Audit Focal in Huntsville, AL.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

• Leads Quality reviews of processes and procedures to ensure compliance to AS9100 requirements. 
• Develops Quality audits and surveillances.
• Leads multi-function, multi-site groups to develop company directives, policies, processes and procedures to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed.
• Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process to continuously ensure process capability.
• Develops scope, schedule, plans and leads hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements, and reports results to management.
• Trains senior management on preparation for third party audits.
• Works under minimal direction.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Experience conducting/leading QMS Audits
• Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
• Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Experience in the application of AS9100
• Experience performing data analysis and/or reporting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Quality experience in a Defense or Space related program (e.g. NASA, DoD, etc.)
• Experience dealing with regulatory agencies or federal regulations
• Experience do you have working with Integrated Quality Data Systems (IQDS)
• Experience with Boeing processes and procedures

Typical Education/Experience:

Education /experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.
