We are looking for a Senior QA Manager to join the Supply Chain Technology team - Warehouse platform with a primary focus on setting up and developing the continuous improvement of the software testing procedures, standards, and tools with regards to the testing activities.
The successful candidate will primarily be based at our state-of-the-art multi-million Eurohub warehouse located in the south of Berlin - (Grossbeeren), which currently supports the fulfilment of over 31m orders a year across 200+ countries and is targeting more growth.
What you will be doing:
Build and implement a testing framework to support the testing activities already in place in the ASOS warehouse
Set testing quality standards, drive improvements, identify and implement tools, technologies or working practices which could be leveraged to improve the quality and productivity of our 3rd party UAT team
Drive future strategic goals for testing (i.e., performance testing automated routines, regression test automation)
Support and develop our 3rd party UAT team to adhere to the testing framework and the set quality standards, keeping them continually challenged, motivated and mentored
You will work across teams to identify testing dependencies and blockers and keep stakeholders updated on the progress
Develop and maintain a mutually agreed upon UAT plan as well as status reports
Work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts and QAs to contribute to the delivery roadmap, set priorities and meet delivery targets
Support the User Acceptance Testing and System Integration Testing in accordance with approved test plans, research unexpected results and lead investigations where needed (during the first 3-6 months only)
Communicate effectively within the team and escalate as necessary
What you will need:
3+ years of QA/test engineer experience
Proven track record of effectively testing business systems and applications
Experience of working as a Test Manager / Lead, able to demonstrate the improvement of testing processes
Hands on with testing efforts both automated and manual
Understanding of integration testing and the ability to work alongside internal and external project teams and 3rd parties
Proficient in English
Strong understanding of testing best practices
Understanding of Project Management principles
Team spirit and strong communication skills together with an analytical and conceptual way of working
Self-organized and highly collaborative
Continuous learning attitude
Nice to have:
Experience of working in the retail industry or FMCG distribution
German and Polish language skills
Good understanding of Warehouse and Distribution systems software (WMS, ERP, WCS..)
Previous experience in logistics/fulfilment center with understanding of operation activities
Experience with managing external suppliers
Managed a team of QAs
Acted as point of contact with users, IT departments and suppliers
Understanding and experience of coding test cases (regression, functional, unit, integration, code coverage, performance, end-to-end, etc.)
