About the team:

The role sits in a team responsible for designing and delivering customer propositions that combine product and services to address customer needs across a vertical, theme or segment, driving need value streams for TUK through differentiation to anyone else in the market.

 

About the role:

The role ensures that Virgin Media O2 Business is maximising its opportunity to extend its reach into its priority market verticals through holistic propositions.  The role commissions new and utilises existing customer insights to determine the end to end propositions that will delight these customer verticals and develops and delivers commercially viable solutions to meet these with.  The role maximises the benefit derived from bundling existing products and services and makes recommendations/commissions new ones essential to winning the hearts to the minds of the prioritised customer sets.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Lead specific designs of customer-centric propositions on our roadmap that will help VMO2 Business in achieving its objectives
  • Build a sustainable proposition pipeline underpinning the VMO2 Business strategy
  • Strong Business Owner, inspiring and leading on the delivery of innovative propositions, capabilities and customer experience enhancements
  • Commissions new products and services where there are obvious gaps to create holistic propositions for VMO2 to achieve maximum impact in prioritised customer segments/market sectors
  • Provides new take to the market positioning of existing products and services to create broader appeal/end to end capability for target customers

 

Key skills:

 

  • Proven track record in developing customer-centric propositions in the B2B space, taking concepts from early-stage ideas and building them up to the business case and market launch
  • Evidence of working with the “customer at the heart” of all business decision making
  • An outstanding communicator with the ability to gain cross-business buy-in at a senior level
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in building business cases with quantified benefits and the ability to provide a well-articulated view of the opportunities and risks.
  • Experience in managing a large group of stakeholders in a corporate environment across strategic, sales, marketing and operational teams.
  • Confident and experienced in working effectively with sales and third-party vendors
  •  Resilient and passionate with a proven ability to perform effectively in a pressured environment.
  • Able to cope with ambiguity and able to meet/ exceed demanding targets.
  • Team Leadership in a matrix environment.
