The Senior Projects Lead will provide oversight to multiple, complex multi-stakeholder workstreams designed to improve UKHSA’s integration with the national security community, develop a system-wide view of roles and responsibilities across UKHSA, and strengthen communication and partnership with local agencies and UK-wide partners.
This is a key leadership role which will support the design of our team’s future operating model, ensuring it is fit for purpose.
A key component of the role is the ability to work within a security classified environment, including undertaking regular travel to central London or other HMG facilities. Therefore, the successful candidate must hold developed vetting (DV) before they can be appointed. Due to the time critical nature of this role, we are unable to sponsor a new DV clearance
Main duties will include:
-Lead a team responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of complex workstreams
-Internal and external senior stakeholder engagement.
-Deputising for the Head of National Security Engagement
-Development and presentation of Executive briefing materials
-Policy writing
-Engaging with Project management tools
-Support the development of the Health National Security function
-Regular travel to central London
-Provide regular updates and briefings to the senior leadership team and other directors

You will have experience of working in secure environments on classified information and in delivering projects on time and to a high standard. Experience of working on Policy is desirable.

-Experience working within a national security environment and handling sensitive information.
-Experience of working on Policy.
-Excellent organisational skills and a proven ability to deliver and manage competing priorities.
