Virgin Media O2 is running a multi-year , transformation programme to transform and rationalise our consumer and SMBB estate. The programme goal is to enable a step change in capability to meet the VMO2 strategic objectives to:
We have built a brand new single integrated customer platform which replaces multiple existing systems, enhancing the way we do business and sell. The new solution will enable us to make changes more quickly and predict customer behaviour to proactively help them and improve customer service. This programme aligns with the company’s purpose of re-imagining connectivity by upgrading our infrastructure to make it easier for our customers to do business with us.
Role purpose:
Reporting to the Director of Transformation Programme, this role exists to lead the Programme Test Partner to complete all testing phases across the Programme including the planning phase, test scenario reviews and traceability with high quality output to ensure the Programme delivers to time ensuring all Business and IT Test criteria has been met. The role is critical to building and leading the testing team for the success of a >400M programme. The role is responsible for defining the scope of testing within the context of each release/delivery and will deploy and manage the resources needed for testing. The role will apply the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product and testing team to ensure the quality of the new solution.
This is a high-profile leadership position, reporting directly to senior leadership team member, working with senior stakeholders right across the business, and the successful candidate will be expected to be comfortable in communicating at this level to ensure the Transformation agenda is a top priority across the wider organisation.
