OneAsset team in IES Employee Experience team is focused on building an enterprise grade IT Asset Inventory, Configuration (CMDB) & Lifecycle Management platform which offers multiple features to manage IT asset data for various business needs. OneAsset gathers data about assets and devices from across Microsoft eco-system and helps teams effectively secure, manage, budget, and optimize their environments. With its hydration & reconciliation engines, OneAsset sources data from & integrates with a huge eco-system both inside and outside of Microsoft & ensures that it stores the best curated asset data.

Responsibilities include researching customer/user base, benchmarking against internal & external offerings, incubating and managing product features from inception through to productization. Collaborating with different engineering & business teams to help ensure we capture problem areas in depth & build a strong business case.
Developing and executing strategic plans to build world-class experiences. The role includes significant EE & other Microsoft communities’ engagement, including evangelization, roadshows & facilitation with cross Microsoft teams. Responsibilities also include influencing senior leadership & other stakeholders on product vision, strategy & roadmap.
The ideal candidate will have a passion & aptitude for problem solving in a complex integrated environment, building great user experience & end-to-end solutions. Strong analytical, telemetry data analysis, interpersonal and written skills are required, as this candidate must be able to build bridges between groups, providing strong team, and community leadership.
The candidate would also need to proactively investigate & build features to help solve security, financial & sustainability needs in the context of IT hardware asset management.
Additionally, the candidate would use data to obtain deep insights and identify opportunities to solve unmet user needs, build business case, prioritize product backlog & help influence executive leaders’ & stakeholders’ buy-in
