Security alerts for the internals of Azure are investigated and mitigated by Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC) analysts in Microsoft’s Cyber-Defense Operations Center (CDOC). Once investigations are complete, we deliver feedback about quality (e.g. true positives v. noise) to the detection authors.

We are a diverse, clarity-and-impact driven group looking for a program manager to drive the development, support, and maintenance of systems and pipelines to enable and enhance detections. The candidate will be part of an inter-disciplinary team of developers, security experts and network engineers. The team is working toward a common vision to be the global leader in delivering timely protection for customers and Microsoft from emerging and future threats.

• Drive the detections vision and roadmap
• Have an execution focused mindset and the ability to work with various engineering teams and stakeholders across the globe
• Quantify business impact and ROI
• Derive insights from multiple data sources including author feedback and telemetry to improve the process
• Drive key conversations with customers and partners to gather requirements to cover detection gaps
• Drive prioritization to maximize business impact in detection delivery

Qualifications

• Overall 12+ years of experience with 4+ years of experience in the security domain
• 5+ years of experience in program/product management leading projects from conception to delivery
• Excellent communication skills and desire to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Ability to work independently and ramp-up to new areas quickly
• Experience in highly matrixed and virtual teams
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and complex problems
• Excellent data analysis skills
