This role sits within the Amazon grocery business, focusing on the quality of the products we deliver to our customers. Working in a team focused on quality driven metrics. The candidate will regularly assess the quality performance of our buildings pan-EU, doing deep dives in the customer feedback data. They will use critical thinking to analyze this data to turn it into projects to drive improvements in these areas. This role will be responsible for maintaining, owning and developing reports to track quality inputs and outputs.

The ideal candidate for the role will be creative and driven, detail oriented, with strong communication skills allowing them to lead a team through an ambiguous space. Rapid experimentation, iteration, and ultimately delivering results are key. The candidate should have strong interest in operations, quality, optimization, and project management. To be successful in this position, we seek an innovative and analytical program manager who has the knowledge and experience in direct-customer fulfillment operations (preferably grocery).

Responsibilities include:
· Owning the definition of processes and standards.
· Identifying and leading continuous improvement initiatives .
· Developing and executing plans for the launch of new features and/or new geographies.
· Partnering with internal stakeholders to understand challenges and business needs and help identify solutions. Collaborating with other Amazon teams to identify best practices and opportunities.
· Leveraging data analysis skills to research difficult or ambiguous problems, leading cross-disciplinary teams where necessary, communicating and implementing recommendations.
· Monitoring and reporting on the progress of multiple activities including significant milestones and any conditions which would affect overall program deliverables.
· Defining and monitoring performance metrics around quality.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Operations/Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related area
· Significant experience managing cross-functional programmes, including external and internal stakeholders
· Advanced Excel and SQL skills
· Proven experience working in supply chain and/or operations environment
· Work experience in retail management or a fulfillment/logistics environment
· Data-driven decision making or quantitative analysis skills
· Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
· Experience with root cause analysis and process design
· High energy for an ambiguous, ‘internet –speed’ environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· MBA or Master’s Degree in a related field
· Knowledge/Certification of Six Sigma/Lean
