The Azure Developer Experience team at Microsoft India Development Center (IDC) is looking for a seasoned product manager to help create and ship exciting new services aimed at developers, quality assurance engineers, and DevOps or site reliability engineering professionals. Our team’s mission is to make Azure & GitHub the best cloud for developers. We ship popular developer facing services in Azure, such as Azure Load Testing, GitHub CodeSpaces, Azure Cache for Redis, Azure App Config Service, and Azure Spring Cloud Service. We are incubating new services in the fast-growing cloud-native testing space with the potential to engage millions of developers and testers building in the cloud, and significant new revenue generation opportunity for Azure and Microsoft. Responsibilities

Here’s what you’ll do and learn to be successful in this role: 

• Work with customers, internal teams, and partners to understand requirements, identify gaps, and validate hypothesis for new product offerings 
• Work closely with engineers, partners, and stakeholders to gather and prioritize scenario requirements, scope projects, and align delivery of scenarios per commitments 
• Define and deliver on feature roadmap 

• Drive technical conversations with internal partners to ensure Azure provides the best possible customer experience 
• Contribute to go-to-market activities working with product marketing and partners 

Qualifications

Required 

• 8+ years of experience in program management or product management shipping enterprise products in the software industry 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or similar engineering discipline, OR equivalent industry experience 
• Experience partnering with engineering teams on technical design and delivery of enterprise software or solutions, cloud service, distributed systems, or software platforms. 
• Strong analytical skills, combined with a strategic orientation, as well as an aptitude for solving complex business problems 

Preferred  

• Ability to define customer-focused scenarios, author detailed functional specifications and work with internal and external partner teams to ensure that scenarios are delivered end-to-end 

• Ability to collaborate and influence effectively across a broad set of internal and external stakeholders 
• Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication  
• Experience creating quality customer-facing product documentation, tutorials, and usage examples  
• Experience defining roadmap and go-to-market plans for enterprise-targeted product  
• Working knowledge of performing market analysis, competitive teardowns, and customer research to validate project priorities and direction
