Responsibilities

• Be a depth expert on our external and internal customers through customer research, data, and strong relationships   
• Understand and translate customers’ unarticulated and unmet needs into actionable requirements 
• Design solutions rapidly through experimentation and direct customer validation 

• Work with the cross-functional teams, including the engineering team, to prioritize and deliver world-class Azure Cache experience for our customers 
• Define and drive metrics around engaged usage and customer success for our tooling products   
• Advance customer successes leveraging our Azure developer services   
• Drive and plan multiple projects simultaneously, and communicate status to partners, stakeholders, and executives 
• Research and analyze competitive cloud tools and platforms to distill the essence of industry trends   

• Evangelize product features in the developer community through docs, samples, blogs, videos, and events 

Qualifications

Required 

• 6+ years in Technical Product Management   
• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and/or a related field      

Preferred    

• Multiple years of proven track record of managing a large-scale cloud service  
• Industry or consulting experience building and diagnosing distributed cloud applications   
• Proven track record for defining a technical vision and leading it to demonstrable business results with the product   
• Scenario and user experience design skills    

• Ability to work with customers and engineering teams spread throughout the globe 
• Hands-on experience as a developer, product manager, customer support, consultant, or architect for cloud-based applications   
• Ability to dig deep into technical challenges   
• Analytical skills required to set future direction and product plans based on data   
• Strong sense of teamwork, personal integrity, responsibility, and accountability   

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills   
• Strong customer advocate, self-starter, and problem solver
