The Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance team is looking for a strong, experienced, energetic and hands on Program Manager to build our new Privacy solutions for admin and end-users ! 

Security, Compliance and Privacy are perhaps the largest challenges our customers face today! These challenges are growing in speed and complexity at a seemingly exponential pace. The move to the cloud, new privacy regulations like GDPR, securing the data and Internet of Things (IoT), growing skill gap, increasing privacy breaches and the growing economic opportunity for them are only going to make this more challenging and more important. Our customers need our help! The Privacy team delivers solutions to safeguard and protect personal data at scale across all environments. This suite is already a revenue and usage growth engine for Microsoft 365, and we are growing the team to accelerate 10x faster!

Personal and sensitive data is the life blood for modern organizations, their most important asset. The Privacy team is focused on creating complete solutions that allows these crown jewels to be managed in conjunction with business and regulatory requirements. These cover a wide range of scenarios such as personal data minimization, protection of personal data against risks, data production in response to legal or regulatory requirements, and many more. These have traditionally been time, labor intensive and specialized capabilities. Responsibilities

The role has scope for broad impact and will require strong customer empathy to understand areas of need, drive product capabilities, deliver compelling and complete solutions, collaboration capability, and ability to influence across organizational lines. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a demonstrated track record of shipping products and technical contributions. She/he will be required to develop customer embedded product innovation - and deliver measurable business value and customer usage. Success in this position requires a growth mindset, great interpersonal skills, and strong technical background to back it up. Experience in the areas of Data Privacy, Data Governance, Information Protection, Compliance, Risk Management capabilities and controls are a plus.

• Driving product strategy and design, evangelize with field, and drive customer adoption
• Ability to engage with customers and partners
• Fostering a strong working relationship with development, design, content, marketing, and business development
• Driving strong partnerships with enterprise customers to understand their scenarios and translating them to requirements for products
• Embracing an adaptable and flexible organizational culture and thrive in our fast paced and evolving industry/technology

Qualifications

• Hands on experience designing user experiences
• Online Services experience is a plus  
• 5 years of experience in Program Management 
• A passion for finding solutions to hard problems at massive scale and operationalizing them
• Strong track record of shipping products and services desirable
• Experience working at a systems level and delivering platforms a plus
• Experience building large scale services desirable
