We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join the Global Payment Product Team in the role of Senior Product Manager. This position will support selected products in the low value payment portfolio, from cash and cheque to electronic payments (ACH, real-time, bill payments).

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support the formulation of global payment product strategy, and drive its execution end-to-end including idea generation, competitor benchmarking, case creation through to commercialisation and business-as-usual management. This may include new product implementation as well as product rationalisation/demise.
  • Develop and implement product commercialisation in partnership with frontline teams to increase product uptake and performance as per product strategy.
  • Product governance including product reviews, financial performance and management of functional and non-functional risks/issues impacting product performance or operational efficiency. This requires sourcing information, conducting analysis and providing recommendations with respect to strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats.
  • Be responsible for the development of new product solutions, setting business requirements in collaboration with country teams with consideration of client needs, emerging market trends, market infrastructure development and the regulatory environment.
  • Work in close partnership with technology to deliver new solutions and ensure solutions/infrastructure remains fit for purpose post-implementation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Good knowledge/ experience in the area of Product Management, and Payments and Cash Management
  • Strong business acumen, presentation, communication and financial skills
  • Experience working in a risk environment, able to work under pressure of challenging deadlines
  • Stakeholder/partner engagement experience in a matrix organisation with ability to influence and collaborate.
  • Track record of building strong working relationships with key internal partners
  • Knowledge of emerging payment technology including APIs, real time payments, eWallets

The base location for this role is London, flexible working options are available.
