We are looking for a talented Product leader who shares Amazon’s passion for delivering great video experiences to our growing base of customers who speak different languages across the world. As a Senior Product Manager in the Prime Video International team, you will own defining new Product requirements to continually raise the localisation bar on our multi-language customer experience, collaborate with Business & Engineering teams to launch and implement new initiatives, and improve our processes. This role is inherently cross-functional – you will work closely with many marketing teams, finance, business development, CS, operations, engineering, and executive teams.
In this role, you will:
· Work cross-functionally with marketing teams, finance, business development, CS, operations, engineering and program managers to deliver complex, mission-critical language launches and localization initiatives, from initiation through delivery
· Define new product requirements to improve the localization CX, test them, report on the results, and iterate
· Review the Product roadmap of language launches, and develop frameworks to decide what languages or localised content to prioritize based on customer and business needs
· Set up mechanisms with partner teams to align on SLAs, launch timelines, content localisation goals, deliverables, and post launch tracking mechanisms
· Partner with key stakeholders to build metrics required to track and enhance our language and localization features and products on Amazon Prime Video's platform across the globe
· Partner with Finance to establish ROI financial models for localisation budget release
· Partner with Customer Services to identify and resolve issues related to localization
· Develop a deep understanding of the Amazon Prime Video customer (both existing and potential) and video market segments across different countries
· Continually assess the competitive landscape and emerging industry trends
This position can be based in London or Seattle.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience with product cycles of 6+ months
· Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition
· Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
· Experience with end to end product delivery
· Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
· Product management experience, working cross-functionally with business, finance, and engineering counterparts to deliver online products/services with underlying complex requirements
· Ability to manage multiple sophisticated projects and competing priorities simultaneously
· Ability to use tools such as SQL & Excel to conduct data analysis and drive actions/ recommendations based on that
· Experience working with teams across geographies
