Job summary
Amazon Pay India's mission is to be India's most convenient rewarding and trusted way to pay. Customers continue to prefer Amazon Pay as their preferred payment method for Convenience, Trust, Access and Ease of Use. The role aims to create a next generation of Payment experience across mobile, PC and voice, for our customers as a lever for marketplace growth as also to shape demand. The role needs the leader to lead the product vision and strategy, define and manage the product portfolio in Amazon Pay Experience. It involves working closely on industry-first, industry defining initiatives to identify how to recommend this payment method and at what cost to make it the most preferred instrument for both existing and new to Amazon customers. The role will be the primary and sole interface on payment experiences for both global and cross-functional, cross-departmental teams. This role also involves working with a strong technical and ML teams to define and launch new payment recommendation experiences.
1. 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
2. Experience with end to end product delivery
3. Experience in working with UX team to define the UI /UX
4. Experience in conducting and supporting primary user research and proving product hypothesis
5. Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
6. Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
7. Product experience of at least 3 years in a customer facing high consideration use-case profile
8. Experience working directly with tech-teams to define BRDs and execute roadmaps independently
9. Solid experience at Amazon writing (PR-FAQs, BRDs and annual planning documents) and oral communication with internal and external leadership teams
10. Strong product roadmap end-to-end experience on roadmap management
11. Influence Category / Finance / ShopEx / Customer Lifecycle Mgmt teams on the roadmap/prioritization/experiments and success metrics
12. Solid grasp on statistical techniques for experimentation and analysis
1. Knowledge of SQL and query writing for data self-help; Working with ML / Data Sciences will be an added plus
2. Financial services or products experience is an added plus
3. Ability to think out of the box and define industry-leading experiences
4. Experience working with cross-category, cross-functional teams both within and outside India consumer business is an additional advantage
