Amazon’s mission is to be the most customer centric company in the world and Workforce Staffing, the organization responsible for hourly associate hiring globally, is on the front lines of that mission and will be your core customer in this role.

This program will re-invent how Amazon attracts, communicates with, and ultimately hires its hourly associates. This team will own multi-layered research and program implementation to drive deep learnings, process improvements, and strategic recommendations to global leadership. Are you passionate about data? The Senior Product Manager (Tech) will work closely with multiple stakeholders in North America and the European Union to design new products to optimize the hiring of hourly associates. The product manager will define and deliver a new product roadmap based on the voice of the candidate, analytics or research topics to optimize hiring efficiency. There are many opportunities in this space to innovate and learn, experiment and pilot, and work closely with our business leaders as well as the Workforce Staffing team.

Responsibilities Include:
· Define a new product roadmap requiring frequent multi-layered communication, organization/time management, and creative problem solving skills
· Building a close partnerships with stakeholders to research, design, implement and drive adoption of new tools
· Act as a key internal resource in the analysis, measurement, and requirements-gathering related to process improvement and productivity initiatives
· Plan, design and communicate the implementation and adoption of new products
· Identify gaps for localization and bridge them to ensure adoption of products in different locales
· Provide regular updates and metrics to stakeholders, including monthly and quarterly business reviews
· Partner with legal, public relations, employee relations to ensure compliance of new products in the EU

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years product management experience in a technical environment
· Experience delivering software products for large, cross-functional audiences from conception through business case to implementation, measurement and ongoing management
· Experience using data to drive sound decision making; strong analytical skills and the ability to compose compelling narratives
· Experience cultivating strong partnerships with stakeholders across multiple levels, functions and technical and non-technical organisations
· Independent problem solver that can set priorities, make high quality judgments and decisions quickly with excellent organizational skills
· Ability to travel 10% of the time (EU & NA) (when travel rules permit)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex information in an approachable manner
· Established experience in HR, Business Analytics or Recruiting
· Familiarity with advanced skills in accessing/manipulating data using SQL
· Detailed knowledge of AWS technologies for business intelligence
· Experience working with remote, geographically-distributed teams, with senior leaders
· Experience with recruiting processes
· Experience with Salesforce
· Experience with Information Security and HR Privacy requirements
· Master of Business Administration
