Amazon is seeking a dynamic product leader in the Partner Interaction Experience team to define tools and processes to allow third-party partners to deliver the best possible Prime Video experience to the broadest possible audience on devices such as smart TVs, streaming media players, and set-top boxes. He or she will work with the world's leading consumer electronics companies and other partners to ensure Prime Video is deeply integrated into all of their devices. Key partners will include Apple, Comcast, Google, LG, Roku, and Samsung. This leader will own the collaboration platform which is used by Amazon’s and partners’ engineering teams, define the scorecard for third-party devices to enable Prime Video to measure the success of each device and make investment decisions.

This role is inherently cross-functional—you will work closely with engineering, program management, design, finance, legal, business development, customer service, and executive teams to bring products to market, develop and grow business opportunities, and enhance our existing products and features.

The role is based in London

Key job responsibilities

• Author documents relating to product life cycle including product vision, roadmap, business requirements and functional specifications.
• Work collaboratively with 3rd Party Device Partnership and Prime Video teams as an advocate for the needs of our customers (and partners), bridging between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Translate complex business requirements into functional designs or specifications
• Design and optimise the processes and tooling for the distribution of Prime Video's living room app on third-party devices.
• Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills both internally and externally
• Partner with key stakeholders to define the metrics required to ensure that customers can enjoy Prime Video on their preferred living room device, and surface this information to Prime Video senior management to inform investment decisions.
• Own the quality bar for partner-facing documentation, and ensure the documentation meets that bar.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and partner marketing teams to deliver on the product roadmap.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in product management, program management or engineering
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience owning feature delivery and trade-offs of a product
• Experience with end-to-end product delivery
• Analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proven ability to define a product roadmap
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in service platforms, metadata systems, analytics, software, video technology or consumer electronics
