We are looking for an experienced product manager who recognises the importance of creating value with internal sponsors and learners to ultimately enhance the Amazon experience for our customers. As a senior product manager, you will manage our curricular of in house retail training programs, work with internal sponsors to ensure learning needs in a dynamic environment are being addressed effectively and develop new tools and content to help Amazon employees across the EU develop their capabilities.
You will be part of a growing team, reporting to the Manager, EU Consumer Training & Learning. The team is based in London however we welcome outstanding applicants who would prefer to be based at an Amazon EU office in Paris, Munich, Luxembourg, Bratislava and London..
This role will involve some travel across the EU. Occasional travel to other countries in which we operate may also be required.
Experience, background and skills required for success in this role:
· Proven product management abilities
· Demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
· Ability to work with and influence employees at all levels of the organization
· Strong analytical orientation; comfortable using databases and analytical tools and making data-based decisions
· Strong customer orientation and commercial acumen
· Knowledge of retail business concepts, strategies, and practices
· Comfortable writing documents and facilitating dynamic conversations with sponsors
· Fluent written and oral communication skills in English
· Bi-lingual proficiency in German, French, Italian or Spanish would be an advantage
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree or compensating professional experience
· Relevant product management background, preferably in a commercial environment
· Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership
· Advanced Excel, intermediate SQL.
· MBA
