We are looking for a talented, smart and highly analytical Senior Product Manager with passion to secure product availability and speed by driving innovation in our EU Supply Chain.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive maximum product availability while trading-off between healthy inventory levels and speed
  • Improve operational Supply Chain cost through product and process improvement
  • Evaluate and simplify large data sets to identify system enhancement opportunities and make clear recommendations for business actions
  • Drive development of metrics and analytics: audit existing metrics and suggest new KPIs to track continuous improvement
  • Join forces with multiple stakeholders, including Tech teams, Vendor Management and Operations
  • Ensure development of key features to drive customer experience and profitability
  • Force-multiply solutions in a worldwide organization collaborating across geographies while considering local peculiarities

A day in the life

To be successful in this role you will need to excel in Ownership, Bias for Action and Dive Deep while Earning Trust with multiple stakeholders in order to drive your projects forward and Deliver Results. You will have experience of stakeholder and project management and be effective in communication and relationship building at all levels of the organization.

About the team

The role will report to the Supply Chain Product Management Lead within the EU Books organization and can be based across EU in London, Munich, Paris, Milan or Madrid.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree required, ideally in a technical or analytical discipline
  • Multiple years of track record in taking Ownership, Delivering Results and moving with speed to implement ideas in Operations, Supply Chain, Inventory Management or Consulting
  • Able to express complex technical and business systems as well as processes in effective communication adequate to target audiences
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert knowledge of Excel, happy to deal with large sets of data to identify trends and issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in BI tools e.g. Tableau, Quicksight and management reporting
  • Ability to write SQL queries
  • Experience in Retail and/or eCommerce
