Job Summary:

Disney Parks, Experiences & Products (DPEP) Technology & Digital, a division of The Walt Disney Company, creates world-class immersive digital experiences for premier brands including the Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani and more. Digital has offices in Orlando, Anaheim, Glendale, Hong Kong, Paris, Seattle and Shanghai, where we design and develop results-driven websites and mobile applications.

The Senior Product Manager works within the Digital Product Operations organization and partners with key stakeholders to inform product strategy, concept development, and define and execute initiatives that bring Marketing, Sales and Brand needs to life on DPEP Technology & Digital websites and mobile applications. The Senior Product Manager will primarily be focused on Disney Genie support for Walt Disney World and Disneyland. They will work closely with product, digital product operations, operations, design, analytics, development, marketing & commercial strategy, and leadership teams to bring product updates to market and sustain digital product operations for this products and brands.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience managing digital product strategy and strategic marketing on owned and operated web sites/apps. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, collaborative, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization while wearing multiple hats, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality deliverables.

Relationship Management Ã¢â‚¬â€œ The Senior Product Manager, under guidance from their leader, fosters strong working relationships and manages partner expectations, scope, budget discussions and project communications.Develops strong partner relationshipsProvides partners with a consistent point of contact and accountability for their digital business needsCan frequently shift focus across multiple projects/lines of businessServes as digital subject matter expert for partners on functional platform capabilities, product requirements and scope management. Using this knowledge, provides relevant and strategic solutions to support business objectivesAccountable for setting and prioritizing urgencies for cross-functional teams while communicating ongoing statuses, addressing priority conflicts and removing any blockersFosters effective working relationships with internal Digital Creative, Production, Product and Technology teams and often brokers solutions between themWorks with Digital Product Operations Managers, Production, Product Analysts and Product Managers across multiple products and brands within DPEP Technology & Digital to support a smooth Guest experience across touchpointsProduct/Project Management Ã¢â‚¬â€œ The Senior Product Manager is responsible for owning the requirements of the digital product from end-to-end, and translating marketing concepts into detailed product requirements and executable sustainment tactics.Instrumental in helping define the promotional product vision and strategy based on multiple inputs from cross-functional teamsWorks with leadership, internal stakeholders and business partners to create product plans and plan and prioritize product roadmap while managing expectations of stakeholdersTranslates product concepts into user stories, epics, requirement documents, test cases and acceptance criteria, and go-to-market plans as appropriate and owns their qualityUses critical thinking to get to the root of product issues, executive questions, etc. and is able to provide a strategic analysis and recommendation in a clear and concise mannerEnsures appropriate review and approval of essential deliverables with DPEP Technology & Digital teams and partnersProactively identifies and resolves (or escalates) blockers, issues and change in business strategic direction that could impair team’s ability to meet strategic launch dates or impact scope/budgetOversees the on-time, on-budget, on-strategy delivery of marketing- and operations-related projects

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of product, product operations, account management, project management and/or eCommerce experienceStrong verbal and written communication and leadership skills, including an ability to communicate effectively at leadership levelsExperience identifying, defining and addressing technical, user and business issues in a fast-moving organizationExperience handling multiple projects incorporating eCommerce strategies and Go-To-Market planning for websites and appsWillingness to take personal initiative and accountability, self-starterAbility to work collaboratively across large matrix organizationsHighly organized, critical thinker who is able to effectively navigate through ambiguityKnowledgeable across multiple functional areas such as product management, UX/UI, customer support, sales, marketing or financeAbility to work with teams in multiple locations, with varying/flexible work hours
