Amazon Consumables EU is seeking a driven, strategic, and customer-centric Sr. Product Manager to join a high impact Amazon Business team to serve customers with Breakroom Supplies, Janitorial/Supplies, Food Services, Professional Beauty and Professional Medical. You will work with vendor managers, product managers, program managers, business analysts, and tech teams to develop and drive the expansion plan of business selection and pricing, which are the most critical flywheel inputs for Amazon Business. You will be responsible to:
· Identify new business selection and pricing opportunities through competitive analysis, customer insights, and industry partnerships, and build a scalable on-boarding process.
· Partner with Amazon Business technology team and with other partner teams to develop business requirements, PR/FAQ, and support the development of the enhancements/features required for Amazon Business selection and pricing.
· Own EU wide projects to unlock new selection and improves prices for business customers, such as our case pack/bulk offering.
· Establish and own selection and pricing goals, identify and define metrics to show impact.
· Partner with Retail Vendor Management teams to develop scalable processes for adding business selection and adopt business pricing across all product lines and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business selection expansion across US and international markets
· Communicate with management and senior executives about program direction, strategy and the operational execution
· Author business cases, white papers, use cases, and process flows
· Effectively manage expectations and resolve conflicts that balance customer and company needs
· Bachelor’s degree, ideally in an analytical disciple such as Business Administration, Accounting, Statistics, Finance, Supply Chain or Engineering
· 5+ years in product/program management from e-commerce, finance, consulting or related industry
· Comfort and proven track record of results in ambiguous business environments
· Demonstrated ability to engage and influence people and teams at every level in the organization through strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills
· Strong analytical skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
· Master degree in Industrial Engineering, Management or Economics or MBA
· B2B industry experience is a plus
· Prior experience in Retail
· Knowledge of SQL
