Who We are Looking For
Cox Communications’ Experience Design Team is looking for an exceptional Senior UX Designer to help us drive the design and delivery of seamless and intuitive user experiences across key enterprise software initiatives. We are looking for a natural problem-solver, a systems-thinker, a highly strategic person who can dive into the deep-end and execute UX Strategy.
What You’ll Do
As the glue that brings together cross-functional teams, you will play a vital role in delivering across multiple-projects in a fast-paced enterprise environment. You will:
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Business SMEs, and Technology teams to make informed UX recommendations by leveraging expert UX knowledge along with performance metrics, user insights, and knowledge of underlying drivers.
Bridge complex business, functional, and technical requirements to create compelling UX solutions employing the latest industry tools and best practices.
Transform artifiacts such as business requirements, user stories, process maps, or workflows into meaningful user interfaces that elevate our employee experience and that drive improved customer outcomes
Facilitate hands-on design workshops and reviews with key stakeholders to bring to life the solution and to encourage alignment or innovation where needed.
Identify user expectations, unmet needs, and gaps in the experience through evaluation of design solutions and by incorporating research insights
Prioritize and monitor own work efforts based on short and long-term needs and adjust approach as necessary in order to drive momentum, maintain alignment, or meet changes in scope or objectives.
Maintain alignment and awareness of design activities, timelines, and priorities among project leaders, peers, and relevant cross-functional stakeholders.
Promote collaboration and alignment between cross-functional partners, key stakeholders, across both internal and external teams.

Qualifications:
Required Skills & Qualifications
5 or more years of experience required in related field (e.g. User Experience, UX Strategy, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, Service Design, etc.)
3 or more years of experience required if you have a related advanced degree
Deep experience with standard design and prototyping tools
A compelling portfolio of results-driven work
Strong technical and market knowledge
Ability to navigate ambiguous work environments
Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills
Strongly Desired Skills
BS/BA degree in related discipline (e.g. User Experience, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Human-Centered Design, etc.)
Experience in telecommunications or high-tech environment
Experience designing enterprise software and UX at scale
Comfortable understanding insights from tools like User Testing or User Zoom
Experience facilitating large stakeholder groups using tools like Invision, Mural, or Miro
Experience delivering work within Agile development framework
Experience with Lean UX or Human-Centered Design methodologies
